Client: Lakeway Landscapes
Situation: After doing some brand definition work with the client, which included coining Lakeway’s tagline and establishing a messaging platform, we moved on to the development of the new website.
This would be Lakeway’s first real presence on the internet, having previously grown through word of mouth, and it would be crucial to the client’s plans to build the business and evolve the brand into a landscaping solutions company.
Brief: Plan a new website (IA) and write the content, telling the Lakeway story in a way that elevates the brand above smaller local soft landscapers and pitches Lakeway against bigger boutique landscaping businesses.
Deliverables: First, we sat down with the client to map out the website, providing a range of IA options that we discussed in detail, finally opting for a structure that (through the primary navigation) highlights the suite of services Lakeway provides.
From there, we took detailed web-page briefs, which we used – in conjunction with our existing messaging work – to write the website content.
Result: The result is a great looking site (kudos to Tandem Studio for design) that builds on the tagline and messaging platform we developed. Together, we’ve brought the Lakeway story to life with a distinct look and brand voice that will help distinguish the brand and sets the foundation for a more sophisticated service offering and clientele.
