Crafting a new custom home building and renovation brand and website.

Client: Roath Street

Situation: Sutton Carpentry & Construction was stuck in a box. While owner Benn Sutton had developed an excellent team and a strong reputation for the quality of their work among people in the industry in Perth, he was struggling to establish his business in its own right.

Much of his work was either commercial in nature or contracted through other businesses, when his passion lies in residential carpentry and construction, working directly and personally with clients to create the home of their dreams.

Deliverables: Benn approached our friends at Perth brand agency Tandem Studio for some much-needed advice on how to go about transforming his business. He wanted to transition from Sutton Carpentry & Construction to Roath Street – a name with a very personal story behind it that Benn wanted to use as the foundation for a new, more personal business.

And so, our copywriters were invited along for the ride. Our challenge: To bring Benn’s passion and the Roath Street story to life, focusing on a single-page website that would act as a messaging and storytelling platform for Benn and his team to use and build on.

Result: Not only does the Roath Street website look great (kudos to Laura at Tandem Studio), but it captures the essence of Benn’s story, showcasing his experience and capabilities, with a big dollop of emotion and a large helping of inspiration.

Benn now has a brand and website that does him and his team justice. See for yourself.
