Situation: Based in Perth, Epigroup is one of Australia’s leading workplace health and safety (WHS) companies. They’re on a mission to harness WHS best practice and innovative technologies to transform the WHS landscape, making it easier and more cost-effective than ever to keep people safe at work.

Episafe is the WHS consulting, recruitment and training arm of Epigroup. Bringing together WHS smarts with leading-edge technology solutions, Episafe gives businesses the knowledge, tools and people they need to go ‘beyond zero’ and turn WHS into a value-adding, bottom-line boosting discipline.

In a relatively short time, the Episafe team has developed a pioneering suite of tools and services, backed by a multidisciplinary team. But with so many facets and areas of expertise, consolidating their story and marketing their services and solutions was proving to be problematic.

Deliverables: The Episafe team asked our copywriters to help define and tell their story, with a focus on a new website designed to showcase their myriad services and solutions as simply as possible. No easy task when dealing with an area as complex and technical as WHS.

After an extensive briefing process, which involved a number of workshops at Epigroup HQ in Fremantle, we had everything we needed to start creating the content for the new Episafe website.

We had a clear site map, IA, wireframes and a cache of SEO search terms (all supplied by web developers Clue). And our heads were buzzing with ideas about how to tell the Episafe story in the Epigroup brand voice.

Result: The new Episafe website makes understanding and exploring the company’s broad expertise and capabilities feel easy. Moreover, by employing the distinctive, conversational brand voice that we developed with the Epigroup team, the copy immediately helps to differentiate the brand in an industry that’s often conservative and traditional.
