Rewriting and reinvigorating WorkCover WA’s gpsupport web content.

Client: WorkCover WA

Situation: WorkCover WA, the Western Australian government agency responsible for the state’s workers’ compensation scheme, needed to upgrade and update their gpsupport website – the online information portal for GPs treating workers who have been injured at work.

Brief: Rewrite the existing content on the gpsupport website to make it easier to read and navigate, welcoming GPs visiting the site with a more friendly and helpful tone.

Deliverables: With a new IA already established, our copywriters started by writing a sample page, providing an indication of the proposed brand voice for internal approval at WorkCover WA.

With the sample page and brand voice agreed, we set about rewriting the rest of the existing gpsupport web content, providing a full rewritten draft for the client to circulate to a number of stakeholders within WorkCover WA for feedback.

Result: Our copywriters were able to revise the draft within the agreed timeframe, leaving plenty of time for fine-tuning the copy before the new gpsupport website went live – even with multiple stakeholders, there were surprisingly few revisions to the first draft.
