What is it with people and the word ‘brand’? Over the last week or two I’ve been in a number of client meetings and I’ve repeatedly heard people (often marketing savvy people) use the word ‘brand’ when they point to a logo.

Copywriting inspiration from… theatre critics?

I recently read an article from the Theatre section of the UK’s online Guardian newspaper. Now, I’m not much of a theatre goer myself – more of a cinema and popcorn man – but the article by Lyn Gardner  really caught my attention because it reminded me of the importance of simile, metaphor and analogy – all great ways to bring copy to life.
